1. What’s been the biggest key to your success on the court?
Consistency, resilience, and trusting the process. Success isn’t just about talent—it’s about showing up every day, pushing through challenges, and believing in yourself even when things don’t go your way
2. How do you mentally prepare for a big match?
I focus on controlling what I can—my mindset, my effort, and my attitude. Visualization helps a lot, so I picture myself executing my game plan confidently. I also remind myself that pressure is a privilege, and I trust the work I’ve put in.
3. What’s your go-to training routine when you’re off the court?
I mix strength training, agility drills, and mobility work to stay balanced. Footwork is a big focus because movement is everything in tennis. I also prioritize recovery—stretching, foam rolling, massages, ice baths, saunas, to keep my body feeling good.
4. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to young athletes looking to improve their game?
Learn to love the process. Improvement isn’t always linear, and the best players are the ones who keep going even when progress feels slow. Stay patient, stay hungry, and never stop learning.
5. How does Pick’d fit into your daily routine?
Pick’d has been a game-changer for my hydration. Since I started using it, I’ve had no cramps and feel more energized and hydrated throughout the day. I use it every single day—not just when I’m training, but even on rest days—to make sure I’m always at my best. I’m so happy to have it as part of my routine!
6. What are your top recovery tips after an intense match?
Hydration, proper nutrition, and movement. I make sure to refuel with a good balance of protein and carbs, drink plenty of water, electrolytes and do some light stretching or movement to avoid stiffness. Sleep is also huge—it’s the best recovery tool we have.
7. What’s your pre-match meal or snack to stay fueled?
I keep it simple—something that gives me energy but isn’t too heavy. Eggs and avocado in the morning , a rice and chicken meal a few hours before a match. If I need a snack, a banana with peanut butter, Greek yogurt and berries or an energy bar does the trick.
8. Who was your biggest inspiration growing up?
Growing up, I looked up to Kim Clijsters, not just for her game but for how she carried herself on and off the court. Her work ethic and mindset inspired me to keep pushing toward my own goals.
9. What’s your favorite tournament you’ve ever played in and why?
One of my favorites has to be Australian Open. The atmosphere, the energy, and the level of competition make it special. Plus, I always love playing in places that bring out the best in me.
10. If you could play doubles with any player in history, who would it be?
That’s a tough one! I’d probably say just Roger Federer to experience his brilliance up close. The way he saw the game, the ease that he played with, and his presence on court would be incredible to learn from.
